Sir,
We have been honord with your Letter of the 5th Inst.1 The Secretary at war has been Spoken to about the arms, & cloathing since his return from Boston. We expect you will hear from him by this Post on that subject, if not satisfactorily, we shall be glad to receive your directions.
The Waggons are to leave Town this day with the cloathing.
The Clothier Genl informs us, that the Cloathing for the Southern army will be forwarded immediately agreable to Genl Greens requisition.
We beg leave to refer you to the enclosed Letter from one of the Invalid Corps.2
