I have wrote the Legislature on the occation and hope they will order one of the new Delegates up, in order to keep up the representation as I shall leave Congress, as soon as this event takes place.
Your request respecting the purchase of the Horses & Charriot shall be attended to, but am affraid he would not be able to make it but on the most extravagent terms. The Chariot you never mentioned before, Griffen will not take the 8000 Dollars for the Mairs, nor will he agree to waite your answer as to the 10,000 he says he is now out of the mind of selling. I am pleased with the liberallity of your sallery. Inclosed you have the papers. Make my most respectfull Compliments to your Lady & the Family at Millwood with that of the Season &
be asshured that I ever am, Yours Affecty,
