I have the honour to enclose herewith at the request of Mr. R.C. Kennedy, a check of the Treasurer of the Mil. Acady. on the Bank of Commerce in New York. Mr. K. having deposited the sum of two hundred dollars on his entering the Academy—while $100 was amply sufficient.
