I have the honor to enclose copies of the papers returned to this Office by Capt Barry in consequence of the order of Congress of July 15th, 1782.

1 The papers of which I informed You yesterday, were enclosed in a letter to the President, with the original from Capt Wm. Robeson2 - but upon farther examination I have found the attested copies transmitted to the Secretary.3
