Natchez Dec 26th 1865

Dear Sir

My brother in law Maj L. P. Conner formerly on Gen Braggs staff may have occasion to write to you - I bespeak for him such. Consideration as is due to a gentleman of money & worth - He has been thinking of sending to Lexington a Son of the late Maj <William> Conner who fell in a charge at Gettysburg leading the Jeff Davis Legion - & I think you will remember him - Major Conner will probably desire some information which you can give - & oblige him & myself. Very Respectfully

Yours

Will T. Martin
