Robert E. Lee to E. Fontaine

Will you be kind enough to inform me when the R.R. will be completed to Covington for travel, & what will be the means of conveyance from there to the White Sulphur Springs. I am anxious to take Mrs Lee to the W. S. Springs & her rheumatic malady renders it necessary that I should make every preparation for her comfort. The car I presume will reach Covington about 9 or 10 P.M. Can she remain there all night & can I get a private conveyance from there to the springs
