The Committee of Congress for foreign Affairs are officially entrusted to inform you that on the 8th of June last past it was resolved to recall you from the Courts of Vienna & Berlin to which you had been appointed: But you are also to be informed that it is the Sense of Congress that you need not repair to America.1 You may see the Proceedings, at length, respecting this Business in their Journals printed authoritatively by David C. Claypoole, and being in the Hands of Doctr. Franklin or Doctr. Arthur Lee at Paris.
