Trenton decr 29th. 1784
My dear Cousin,
I am very greatly obliged to you for your favor of the 24th instant and for your care of the horses - I hope they will arrive safe and in good order. If Mr. Harrison is not disappointed, he will pay you eight pounds 4/6 for Mr. de Bartholts demand and for the 14 dollars due on account of transporting the horses. Your worthy father has given me reason to hope for his company here a few days before I go to N. York (which will be next Wednesday) and when he comes, let me entreat that you may accompany him - I keep a fine Saddle of Venison for you - My best love to him, to my dear Sister & Cousin Livingston - God bless you,
farewell.
