In the name of Congress I am to request that you will be so kind as to deliver the enclosed letter to the Minister plenipotentiary of the United States at your Court, as soon after your arrival as may be convenient.
I heartily wish you my dear Marquis a pleasant Voyage and that you may find everything to make you happy on your Arrival in France. I have the honor to be with Sentiments of the truest esteem and regard dear Sir,
