Camden, Oct. 7th. 1777

Dear Sir.

I take the opportunity by Mr Harvey to acquaint you that there is to be a severe attack made on you, at the meeting of the Assembly. I understand they have got your letter to Capt. Scott: I flatter myself you will be able to clear up the point to your satisfaction and all your friends’ and that you may get the better of all your Enemies I shall be glad to hear from you by the first opportunity. I beg you will write me all the news you have, as we can hear nothing that can be depended on.

Your most affee, hble Servt.

Will. Booth.
